ok so this one sounds suspiciously coldplay-ish but i just like the idea of swallowing so much sleep, coz i very much want to do that, gulp a whole lot of it down and keep me full. (and am obviously listening to too much 98.7. husband calls everything on it “hipster”. i think it’s his favourite word.)

a trip to the moon

if you’ve watched Hugo (or read ‘The Invention of Hugo Cabret’), that famous image of the rocket poking the eye of a grumpy moon and all the rest may have reminded you of this awesome Smashing Pumpkins video… (it sure did us.)

(it also reminded me of the Film History textbook i had for a module in uni, which i dug out in a nerd-moment to find a useless trivia, i.e. i share the same birthday as Georges Méliès! ok /endnerdmoment.)

ps: a whole week to catch up on movies yey!

Radiohead will perform five shows only this November: Brisbane at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Friday 9th November, two shows in Sydney at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th November, and two shows in Melbourne at Rod Laver Arena on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th November.

really moving song by tori amos featuring her daughter, natashya hawley.
can’t believe it i didn’t hear it sooner although the song was on my itunes ages ago! (wife’s collection)

love it how both mother and daughter’s voices complement perfectly in the song.
natashya was about 10 years old when they recorded the song and she sounded so mature!

btw, it’s nothing to do with steve job’s coffin :)
