Maybe it will help my kids to learn/use a bit more Malay as well. Not easy to get them to speak in Malay in full right? But personally I think S'pore kids can cope with catching up on Malay a bit later, because firstly (& luckily!) its not that complicated a language to learn, and secondly experience has shown that Malay kids can do very well in school and out of it (well, at least in S'pore) without really mastering the Malay language, but of course it would be a bonus if they are very adept at it :-) Heard so much abt this Upin & Ipin cartoon, thx for sharing some more info on it, will try to get it as well.
