the best and final episode of KL Trip 2008 :)
Posted by izadd in Family, Food, Friends, Movies, Places, Travels, Videothe latest and last installment of our 2 days trip to KL which we all agreed was way too SHORT!
i’m really amazed that the videos really create a lot of buzz in the websphere with each episode hitting more than 500 views EACH! wow! (if one person just pay 10 cent to watch each video, gua kaya, haha!!)
so, its either there are really 500 viewers to the blog or the same people keep viewing the videos 500 times!
anyway, since this is the last of the KL videos, we really like to thank lennyrendra for organising the trip and nazrini for finding such great accomodation. and the rest of the roadtrippers, you guys rawk!! (we should organise more of these type of trips)
btw, the dvd is near completion, and since it seems that the videos are really popular, i’m taking orders of the dvd for the rest of the viewers who wants a copy for a low price of $29.99 with autographs from the roadtrippers and a personalise cd cover! (no lah, joking only)
ok, i don’t want to waste anymore time, since i got an assignment to complete also, enjoy the video and selamat berpuasa!

Hi.. both me and hubby watched all 4 installments of yr roadtrip. Impressive! We are actually looking around for someone who can help to edit our videos which we took for our (now 3 yrs old) boy and several vacation trips as well. Quite sayang to leave them like that.. Do drop us an email and see if we can work something out. We are in no hurry to have the vids edited, btw.
Btw, they have Bubba Gump in KL too?? We had it in NY and it was damn sedap!! And we saw it in Bali earlier this year too. Seeing yr videos make me wanna go to KL too!!!
hi there, nice video-editting!
sorry to bring this up-
are the meatballs at ikea halal? i was under the impression that ikeas all over the world sell ready-made meatballs which can be found in the frozen section of the little “supermarket” they have in ikea. they’re 50% pork and 50% beef.
of course, i might be wrong and there may be exceptions to the rule (eg. ikea malaysia, ikea dubai, etc.) in which case, i’ll look forward to trying the meatballs myself in the future!
elia, the meatballs at ikea is NOT halal. we travel all the way to KL to eat non-halal meatballs when we can get it here at tampines ikea
of course its halal in malaysia and as you answered the question yourself, only in certain countries where islam is the majority religion/rule. so the best is look out for the halal sign before buying or consuming them. its that simple
or you can google “halal ikea meatball”, sure can find. ok?
hehehhee izadd insyaallah naz will try to get the transport to get the tee-bee la hor!
actually i tink i noe which console you’re talking about leh. it’s a brand new design comes in black, brown n white. $249++ or sumthin like that la!

great video bro… i know who to look for kalau nak tips buat video.
Wah, turun KL tak sound gue! I could have been your gourmand tour guide!
But looks like you managed to visit most of the good food joints.
I’d like to offer a tip, which I think has been mentioned by one of your commenters – if you want food and shopping without the KL hassles, go to & stay at Damansara / Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya, Selangor i.e. where ikea is. Carl’s jr, Chilli’s, Friday’s sumer ada kat situ. If you want negeri-sembilan type cooking, you can go to nearby Puteri Restoran at Sungai Penchala (ironically for u, the owner is ex-Singaporean hehe). For authentic Kelantanese cooking, hop on down to the Sunday night market at nearby Taman Tun Dr Ismail. To burn off those calories, go to Camp 5 at One-Utama, the best indoor rock-climbing gym in Malaysia
Then, if you simply must go to KL, take the Penchala Link to Sri Hartamas, KL’s hapenin’ nightspot second only to Bangsar.
KLCC / Bukit Bintang area is so overrated. Let the Gwai lohs go there; orang Nusantara, come to Pee Jay!!!
thanks malaysian, we’re missing the food already!
and yes, if ever we go convoy again, we’ve already decided to stay at damansara area nx time for sure. happening!
