don’t worry about him, aunties, if anything, the fall only made him EVEN more mischievous. :p
during the follow-up at kkh last friday, his stitches were removed.
we thought the thread was the kind that dissolves, you know, like the kind they use *down there* after we give birth. so he had to steel himself for this, no sedation for you ha ha! padan muka.
afterwhich, he went on to do his usual stuff.
chop chop, mutton chop! cooked just the way daddy taught me, you know.
making a mess. making me mad. asking me gazillion questions, most notably, the endless string of “where?” (eg. “where daddy?” “daddy work.” “where?” “far, far away.” “where?” “you know when spiderman catches the naughty men and gives them to the police, then they put them in jail?” “where??” etc.)
after i stripped off the plaster on his brow, i was surprised to see that the scar looked… neat. not bad, Dr McSteamed Pau’s hands must be pretty good to do such a neat job.
he just needs to grow back some of his eyebrow hair, heh. macho much?
and speaking of hair (or the lack of it), this girl too didn’t escape from her own growing pains.
a fleeting fever, which she didn’t seem to mind at all, obviously. (yes, that bib’s almost totally drenched in her saliva. sigh.)

which petua? the one my grandma told me is to ‘steal’ someone’s kain buruk from their house and wipe off the drool from her mouth, like eeewww!

heya tasyah, i think those thighs are genetic, i had them when i was a baby too! anyway that fever was a few days back, only lasted a day, but only her head was warm, the rest of her body was, strangely, normal.

Ewww, I think maybe that petua abt the kain buruk works because it scares the baby s***less until they can’t even produce anymore drool, LOL!! Anyway, I have the same drooling problem with my youngest too, wouldn’t have minded it so much if we were in S’pore but over here where its cold (all the time arrgh), very hard to keep his chest warm and dry, been wearing bibs almost all the time but now ugly red marks can be seen around his neck as he likes to pull at them.

did he cry at all when they removed the stitches? eow. if dia tak nangis, wah, very the terror! i see all this stitches, i yang seram. lol! but in time the scar will gradually fade. your auni punya peha, so the very tembam and berketak one. so geram to see! macam nak gigit!

Well, my 3rd boy is only 5 mths old, almost same age with Auni,right?.
The other two is 7 & 5…a real HANDFUL.
(BTW…all my boys name start with letter “A” too!!)

saudarilee (can i congratulate you many many, like THREE times many??? hehee), yeah lah, of course cry. at first eksen, bergegas masok bilik doktor. ended up bribing him with two sweets (a definite treat for him lor). after that, bergegas out again like nothing happened. gahh.
