“hola, it’s me again!
no, please don’t call me botak jones. or botak jane for that matters.
that’s me at six weeks. i’m taking over this blog for a while coz i’ve recently discovered the joys of gurgling, so just pretend that the funny sounds coming out of me make sense to you, ok?
nothing much to report, except that the other day the Parents brought me to the doctor’s, where i was weighed (4.6kg), measured (55cm), and brutally poked in the thigh with a heyuuuge needle, but that was ok, i just turned red in the face and gave a loud yelp, then i forgot all about it.
what’s the deal with that, anyway, terrorising little babies like me with sharp objects?? i’m glad i never have to go through that again, phew.
… WHAT?? it’ll happen AGAIN?? till i’m HOW old??? holy mustard poo!
ok, ok, deep breaths…
as i was saying, the nice lady doctor said i’m growing ok. she did some funny things to me, sniffed my butt (ok, she didn’t, she just peeked at the BCG lump on my rump), talked about her niece (huh?), and something else about a pneumococcal vaccination.
… wait, does that involve another heyuuuuge needle too? erm.
right, where was i? (please apologise, we babies do have short-term memory. and short-term attention span… oooh look, lights! ahhh…)
ok, ok, focus, auni!
so i’ll be seeing the doctor again in two months time, which daddy’s fond of coz it means child mc for him. and which mummy’s fond of too coz it means she gets to jalan-jalan. (like as if she doesn’t jalan-jalan enough.)
and i shall stop here because i feel the snooze monster sneaking up on me, and my train of thought is in serious threat of constant derailment (darn those lights, they distract me so), and mummy needs the computer for non-blog matters.
like the internet-savvy new generation baby that i am, i shall round off with a resounding: TTYL and TTFN!”
(hmph, they really should change it to GAYL for “Gurgle At You Later”.)

Hi… I’m actually very interested with your creation in Whim & Fancies. I tried to email you but I didn’t get any reply yet. Not sure if you receive my mail. I would like to make order for 2 diaper cake. One for baby boy (2 months old) another one is a newborn baby girl.
Can you email me and let me know what is the procedure to make order and all other detail that i need to know. I’ve browsed other page for the diaper cake. But I think yours is the best. Hope to hear from you soon as I need the item rather urgent cause the boy is not staying in Singapore and he will be coming for a short visit. Thanks

Awww…u speak with such intelligence. Just like your bro and mummy. Cheh ewah ewah. Anyway, your hair reminds me of myself when i was at yr age. Bila dah 2 yrs old jer, rambut very lebat u know..even after pulling at least 50 strands of hair per day while watching T.V(up till now).
fulamak, auni!!! unty very impressed with your entry. excellent, babe!
and by the way, your hair can rival abang hamzah’s. he’s 10 months old but still maintains as much hair as you do. hmmph!!!
Fwwaah Auni! you reli internet savvy lah. Kecik2 dah pandai blog2 ni eh..
Anyway ape tu TTFN? Aunty jarang main msn lah..

what, you don’t know what TTFN means??
why, it stands for Tetek Time For Now, of course. duh!
what’s mengoceh, unty lynn? is it like the cousin of mengecoh?
ouhh, abang hamzah has about the same number of strands of hair as i do, unty mahd? all 10 of them?
unty sharinna… *thinks*
you didnt mention daddy lehh??
unty yanty, hmm, i’ve to work on my charm on oma. havent unleashed it at full strength yet.
ouhh kakak fateha got fever after the jab? i just slept and slept. hehe.
Auni, u don’t bedek aunty lah.. I just learn TTFN means Ta-Ta For Now frm Playhouse Disney.
Big kids like me also learn new things frm that channel… Hehehehe… ;P
auni got pneumococcal oredi?
no fever?? terror lah youuuu….

*starts counting abg hamzah’s hair*
erm, 1, 2, 3…err…auni, i think you can count better!
not giving her the pneumococcal jab yet. at her age, she’ll have to do it what, four times? mahal!
but we might give aniq, since he’s old enough for just one jab.
i want them to take chicken pox vaccination also leh. i never had chix pox myself! paid for a jab at the polyclinic more than ten yrs ago, not sure if i’m immune to it for life…
hahah…not sure if ANY jabz are for life…
as for fateha, she has to take pneumococcal.
recommended by her doctors, cos she’s…you know… :(
ouh, yeh chix pox….nasty stuff!
ya lor expensive..that jab la this jab la..if once takper ..3 times! for now i give adryan the 6-in-1 and rotavirus jer..
that time doc suggest me take the cervix jab but i tink i dun wan..mebe after 2nd child hahah..and i haven go for pap smear!
wah haven kena ah..hopefully wont kena lor ehehe… i kena during poly tgh exam ..boring seh
hello.im a nurse specializing in childhood immunizations.from my experience, i feel that it is advisable to take the pnemococcal jab.because ive seen a child at the brink of death as she was infected without prior symptoms, except a really high fever.which her parents thought is normal for children her age.money matters aside, i can assure you it is worth it=)
gosh, thanks aini! so did the child survive, and how old was he/she? :S
cervix jab (sounds horrible!), suggested by dr A, right, lynn? ouhh that reminds me, my 2nd month check up coming up, pap smear time. eh, go lah! it’s not painful or anything.
yeah ..its a new thing ah this jab..against cervix cancer..but i wonder how effective eh?..hmm
will ah..err wait for another month..mcm malasssss gitu haha
thankfully, the child did survived.she’s only 2 years old=)
