last night, as she was sleeping, i was breathing in her sweet baby scent, my nose nestling against her warm neck, taking a deep whiff of her soft cheeks and nuzzling her fuzzy hair, when it hit me like a tidal wave:
“this could well be the last time i’ll ever get to smell a baby of my own.”
and i felt… sad.
i mean, the logical equation is: 1 boy + 1 girl = close shop, right?
right!
i’m all for stopping at two. that’s the maximum capacity for this boat. my fuse is too short. plus, to go through the whole pregnancy and post-pregnancy process again? ho ho.
perhaps it’s just those post-natal hormones playing emotional tricks on me. that baby scent, it’s like an addictive drug, you know? produces pleasurable effects and makes you temporarily high. (i say temporarily, coz you snap out of it once they start to scream their lungs out. :p)
or perhaps it’s just the minyak telon i marinate, err, slather her with. i swear i love minyak telon.
“wangi!”, her brother says, nodding in agreement. hehe.

aniq is soooooo sweet! so loving! so far dia ada show signs of jealousy or not?
so far so good leh! selalu tgk baby mcm in the pics gitu lah, kiss all over, even her hands hehe. but he seems to know to be gentle with babies. (and very rough with big boys!)
aniq so lembut with the adik..alalala..cutenye dua dua..so loving..
babies have this distinctive nice smell.. *melts*

Awww..Aniq soo affectionate towards his adik. I wonder if Fynna is gonna be just like that if she has her own adik. As it is, she is soo jealous if her dad snuggles up against me. Hehehhehehe..
Hoho… Eh kalau 1 day got somebody invent minyak telon perfume I buy for u.. LOL. Got another minyak lah in a glass bottle.. Chinese brand.. haiya tu pun sedap…

that’s a very touching photo of them both. cos i remembered not being like that to hakim when he was a baby. (i admit, i was jealous) oh yes, baby scent. sometimes i secretly wish he still has that. tapi skarang kalau amek gambar cium pipi dia, macam sumpah incest.

I love the smell of minyak telon too… But not too sure abt my childen tough. Stoppping at 2? Pregnancy is wonderful just that the post pregnancy thingy is the one that is not very nice isn’t it …Anyway Happy Mother’s Day to you!
