so, what’s the day of a temporary sahm like?

baby stirs, baby bathes, baby feeds, mommy bathes, baby poops, baby sleeps, mommy eats, mommy tinkers at the computer, mommy deals with W&F matters, baby feeds, mommy scavenges for snacks, baby sleeps, mommy does laundry, baby seeks attention, mommy gets baby acquainted with house, baby bathes, baby feeds, baby sleeps, mommy bathes, mommy spends time with toddler, mommy scolds toddler (ha ha), toddler sleeps, baby feeds and feeds and feeds and finally sleeps, mommy watches tv, mommy sleeps.
or something to that effect, more or less.
in between, she gets her body kneaded back to whatever shape it was previously. or at least, tries to. :S
i think every woman has a pre-pregnant pair of pants or jeans or skirt that becomes like a yardstick or measurement of achievement when they are able to squeeeeze their newfound post-pregnancy hips and butt into.
i chose this favourite pair of mango pants as my yardstick, which i really missed. (i know, i’m cheating – these are CARGO pants, supposed to be worn loose, lol!)
erm, how esah, do i look two months pregnant now?? :p
sigh, now to psyche myself up to do tummy crunches. ugh.

I’m a babyslinger too(used to)….esp pouch sling. hahah when I was slinging my baby using the lucky baby sling, ade a few nyonya so kpo they actually came over to c what’s inside and got a shock when they c my gal cosily dozing off.
your temp SAHM routine so reminds me of mine. with a toddler a bit tough but fun….heheheh i also have scold the toddler moments. but wat I missed most abt my 2nd maternity leave was watching Crocodile Hunter with my toddler every noon…heaven!! n now he’s hooked on crocs

ohh…for kumpulan berzanji (or marhaban..sama kan?!) for both my kids, we used Masjid Ghufran. Quite good. they travel all the way to our place at CCK. my fil yg uruskan but you can try asking the masjid.

just a note, you may want to do a proper shoulder-to-hip measurement. the sizes may be a tad bigger for us asians. so if you’re normally an M, you may want to consider buying the sling in S size. the size also depends on the design of the individual slings.

i bought an S size sling from Hana a few months ago..and it fits me well altho i am definitely not an S size. ;p

haha lynn…nusair is past the cradle carry stage…when i bought the sling, he was already about 6 – 8 weeks old. nusair didn’t really like to be in the cradle carry position, plus he’s a big baby! :p
hehe.. i figure as much..because i think S is too small for cradle carry for my baby size(dia pun boleh tahan debab!) ..tapi nak carry other style his neck not strong yet..so M it is for me hehe
