“dear aunty rini,
sorry i didn’t come out on your birthday yesterday!
i tried, i really did. i even motivated mummy to get her lazy butt out of the house so she’d walk around and i’d have a higher chance of coming out that day.
she brought abang aniq to the airport, and i even had a treat of ice cream fondue, courtesy of aunty nur.
err, abang aniq was more interested in stuffing fries in his face.
and uncle bob’s face.
then i released more of that magic ‘nesting instinct’ serum into mummy’s body so she dragged everyone (except abang aniq, who had dozed off, and uncle bob, who had a hawt date) to ikea.
daddy replaced mummy’s breastfeeding chair for a new one, coz the old one had turned creaky and terribly stained from abang aniq’s time. he also got her a brand new carpet, which she said made the room smell of hari raya. oh, and she also finally got around to clearing all that W&F stuff that’s been messing up MY ROOM, into one heeyuuge box so it looks less like a diapercake factory and more like a baby room. she also fussed about with my cot, tried to hide more things around the room… and i think it’s not the end of it. she’s on one of her mad furniture sprees, so she’ll be going at it again later, lugging more stuff home.
so maybe i’ll wait a bit more for her to complete her ‘projects’. maybe pushing around all that furniture would do her some good, and i’ll come out tomorrow on aunty esah’s birthday…
