aniq’s new cousin! i’ve always had a soft spot for little boys, probably coz my firstborn’s a boy. just one of those mother’s bias hehe.
about ten hours after being induced, he was squeezed out, all 3.92kg of him, with epidural administered at one minute apart. =O
and it seems that the lil fella didn’t have much space or he liked a particular position inside his nine-month home, coz his feet are curled inwards. i’d never noticed baby’s feet like that, so i was quite fascinated. in any case, i hope my lil one inside has more than enough room to move and kick about (i KNOW she moves and kicks about – a lot – especially at two in the morning, grrr), so maybe a huge tummy/womb may serve a good purpose after all. and i’m also hoping that the ‘lowness’ of my tummy will help the baby come out faster/easier, since it’s already, err, so near the ‘exit sign’. you think? :S
ok, shan’t think of that for now. there’s no way we can predict what will happen in the delivery room anyway.
let’s focus on the present! here are the two energetic monkeys at, as the littler one would say, “oma aus” (oma’s house). yes, he speaks germanish hehe.
other than chase each other around the house, they also make up their own games, like the “big-small” game (of which the origin and rules escape me), hold conversations (with bursts of gun-shooting sound effects in between), make a mega mess out of lego bits, fight for their oma’s attention (and make her sing ‘buai laju-laju’ while she lies down and swings them on her legs – free exercise regime, no need for gyms!) oh, and she also kicks balls around with them, and when aniq says “oma, ek-sais!”, she obliges by leading them in stretching exercises. i swear.
my mum must be going mad at home. i think i would, hehe. :p

My niece and nephew weigh @ 4.6kg & 4.4kg respectively *gasp*! I wonder how she carry them in her womb all that nine months ++. And giving birth to them .. Salute ah u mothers.. I’ve yet to hv mine.
Anyway, aniq is soooo soooo cute la.. buat gemes aja..

nur, looks like you got the hang of it liao, lol! it takes a lot of energy now not just to chase after him, but also to layan his incessant chatter. but ok lah, i prefer to talk than run after him anytime, although both takes up my breath ha ha. :p
oh my, aqi! that’s as good as carrying twins – twice!! =O is your sis big-ized? it’s usually genetic. i’m on the, erm, kecik-nonet side, so have to be careful that the baby doesnt grow TOO big or out of proportion to my body size. or else… ‘exit sign’ will need need major repair works, lol!
sen & nz, they’re still deciding between aydin faiz or aidan faiz. i like aidan coz it’s one of my top choices when i thought of boys’ names earlier on in this preg. :p
ju_ju, he is as cheeky as he looks in there, i myself end up *pinching* his cheeks when he’s like that because geram. haha!

my sil’s mum just retired from teaching this mth, so she’ll help look after this new baby, and adam remains status quo under my mum until he goes to a proper nursery, i guess. i’ll be on at least 5-6mths leave so hopefully i won’t tax my mum so much. AND, there’s a new childcare centre opening up at my workplace nx mth, so by the time i come back to work, i may dump aniq there ha haa! we’ll see. gosh, so much logistics to think of eh?
thats why when i told my mum i’m stopping at two, she said “bagos!”. hurhur.
i talk to aniq quite often on the phone i can make out quite a bit of his speech, although sometimes it doesnt register to me… hehe!

Salute to ur SIL!!! I cant imagine the long breaths she had to take to push him out! By the time Aneesa came out, i was already breathless!!
the good thing is she is able to go back after 2 days ah..with baby at 2.3kg .. the last thing she said to me was she already felt contractions haha alih2 jer dah popped! seram jugak ..but quite a long labor at 20 hrs eheh..rupanyer the cord was around the neck! luckily he came out in time!
i also haven buy anytin except a few clothes! i think my mum’s more prepared! ahha ..how lazy i am :/

My 2nd baby feet are also curled inwards. I was quite worried when told abt it but the PD cakap mesti urut both feet when their feet are still lembut so that the child won’t grow having club foot. Alhamdulillah the feet are normal now but at 13mths she still has not started to walk so i’m not sure whether ada relation to the inward feet….
awww….ur nephew is such a darling! and 3.92kg??!?! and to think tat u were just telling me his estimated weight was 3.6kg during ur SIL’s last visit. (O_0″)

he he..dun worry hana..i think 100% konferm ger…nowadays the ultra-sound scans are higher resolution compared to back in 90s and 80s. i have an aunt who was pregnant back in the early 1990s..gynae nampak mcm gal but keluar boy. she was so disappointed cos she already have 3 boys.
so far i’ve nvr heard of misinterpretation of gender in this century. ade tak?
