finally got around to fixing the cot back to its original height, and cleared out the drawers, making separate piles of stained-beyond-redemption baby clothes and still-decently-wearable ones. guess which pile was bigger? :S
am currently at home, sustaining on honey stars with milk. have been violently coughing the past few days, and i think i overstrained my stomach muscles or something coz now whenever i cough, my left abdomen hurts like mad and i feel bruised inside. a little worried that it’s affecting my womb and the baby who keeps quivering every time i cough. she’s probably traumatised and distressed by the constant tsunami my coughs are causing, especially at night. supposed to take antibiotics for the viral infection but can’t, so will have to bear with this misery for a while longer. :S
there’s also the problem with water retention in the “Netherlands”, and my perpetually bruised legs which are popping out more and more purplish-and-green “maps”. both symptoms, apparently, handed down by my mum, who had the exact same thing when she was having me. now you know why pregnant women waddle? simply because they can’t walk with their legs closed. it’s like we have… balls. yuk. only, guys don’t waddle, they ‘swagger’. (well, those with balls, anyway.) sheesh. :S
ok, so as you can see, am not exactly feeling up-and-perky now. gonna go suffer some more with my quivering baby and catch up on all those shows i’ve recorded on SmartTV.
this has been a terrible rant, hasn’t it? :S

memang the same room and the same cot hahaa.. but *someone* misplaced the side bar latch, so we had to ask around and ‘beg’, nasib baik ada kawan yang masih simpan tu benda…
hmm i pon tak tau lah whether i’ll give birth much earlier! i really hope not of course, better to have a full-term baby than pre-term… but my stomach is sooooo low and heavy already, it’s quite scary. :S

tks… just went to the docs again to ‘complain’ that the meds aren’t working, and he decided to give me antibiotics after all and stronger stuff, like ventolin. gah. i hate meds. :S
Eh give birth siang sikit ahh then you can organize my bday party..! hahahaha…
yah lah, if a few days early ok… but not weeks. :O
i’ll only know how big the baby is nx wk when i go for my apptmt. looks huge from where’ i’m looking, haha.

i give birth when i was 35 wks altho pre-term (by a week or so) but the baby was 3kg.
so i didnt worry as the baby was healthy. =))

those varicose veins mesti urut using some powerful minyak, so that it won’t be so obvious… tapi tak taulah kena tunggu lepas beranak or not.

sapu minyak jeton (zaiton) banyak2……it’ll subside soon insya-Allah….itu nak kena hang tinggi2 lah bila baring ke duduk ke….must limits movement also. cos they (vericose veins) appear from too much walking and standing……nak kaki cantik lepas bersalin rajin2 lah yer sapu minyak jeton dan rehat2 kan kaki….:p
as for the tummy lying low which causes hindrance when you’re walking…..the answer is urut…..i always did that whenever i feel that while pregger with nks…. i swear it helps! cubalah…..
ok last one…..i had a cough and followed by sneezing when my waterbag burst
so nak batok pegang perot so it doesnt cause pressure on the baby inside. ni tips from a kolig….

i know minyak zaiton or olive oil is also good to prevent stretchmarks, but this time round, stretchmarks are like the last thing i care about haha. :S
haii how to prevent from walking/standing too much eh… abis orang kata kena ‘exercise’ so labour will be easier. hmm..
i asked the doc if the baby is affected from all this coughing, he said it’s ok, coz the strain is only on the outer part of the womb. but still quite seram, mcm nak terberanak everytime the coughing fits start.
u had flu eh lynn… sib baik ni takde fever. that would make me doubly worry. :S
