i guess mummy has mentioned my spiderman stunt the other day with my cot bed. well, it’s ABOUT TIME those two did something about it! they’re such procrastinators, i swear.
they brought me to look-see toddler beds the other day, but eventually postponed any purchase, even though i’d shown my clear preference for a particular one with a cool canopy over it. i think they’re waiting for me to offer my duit raya to them. HAH! wait long long, hor.
meanwhile, diddy attempted to do the macho thing by converting my cot bed into a junior bed, but, err, let’s just say, some things just aren’t meant to be. (hmph, he really should take up some handyman workshop or something… oops, sowie diddy! you da bomb, ok! selamat hari raya, maaf zahir batin, halalkan makan minum, teruskan tukar my diaper selalu, etc…)
so, he gave up and now, i’m as good as sleeping on a mattress on the floor! which is just as well, i guess, coz i get to literally JUMP into bed, plus, i get to bring ALL my toy friends and books to sleep with me. naturally, mummy nagged at me, saying there won’t be any space for me to actually sleep with so much things in my bed. sheesh. party pooper.
the morning after, diddy said he found me on the floor…
SURE OR NOT?! that’s like telling me i snore in my sleep – it’s simply NOT true, i tell you!
ahh, that’s more like it. and all crumpled and messy, with mismatched pillows, just the way i like it.
ouh, and mummy says it’s a good thing i haven’t been found “sleepwalking” so far.
(but i’m just lulling her into believing that for now. hurhur.)
in any case, i’m STILL waiting for that proper tod bed, hokay?!
and don’t you touch my duit raya… “neeeq nye!”

the other time i was having my breakfast when nks roll off from the bed. my bed i mean. she was asleep! padahal
baru check on her barely 5 mins ago….
i guess she must have roll and roll and roll and gedebuk! face down on the floor at the foot of my bed.
and then showed her red cheeks “atit!”
when i asked what did she dream of that make her fall from the bed?
she answered *finger pointing at the bed with rolling actions* “atohh!” and when i repeat ‘mimpi jatoh katil?” and she nod her head.
ekekekekek……
ni lah akibat nya bila tido di katil tak berpagar. baby cot is always safer like aniq’s especially.
gosh, don’t babies grow so fast??
I hope when the time comes, adam’s dad would know how to convert his cot into a toddler bed!

aliyah, roll off is one thing, ni purposely climb in and out of the cot mcm stuntman… kalau tanya mana sakit jer, ketuk kepala. tak serik.

actually, best jugak tido mcm style jepun ni, i pun tumpang sekaki, especially when he pulls my head to his pillow suruh baring ngan dia.
i was just thinking that day whether we should do the same thing to the twins’ cots. cos dorang dah biasa camping atas tilam in the living room! kalau tarok dlm raised and confined space mesti tunjuk perasaan punya! aniq boleh tido with the toys surounding him..? dia macam happy semacam gitu, hehe! my boys takkan punya! selagi ada menan, selagi tu mata belolok.
yah, mite as well lah rin, since they’re used to it, the only thing is nak sapu and mop susah. and dia kalau tutup lampu, tido jer, no matter what’s in the bed hehe. ni lagi tadi dia hangkut fire engine and wooden push cart dia atas katil… :-S

Mak Aniq, bab lowering cot tu kan.. mak Nabil buat sendiri sebab mak Nabil kurang kesbabaran untuk tunggu bapak Nabil jadi handyman (it’s also a one-upmanship thing ah). Hehe..
lol! mak aniq sengaja tak nak buat, not under her jurisdiction, together with diaper changing, etc!
huda, the spider girl, flung herself off her cot some months ago. i was sooooooo worried after that, i called the kkh’s ask-a-nurse helpline (even though i know what they were going to say – monitor for drowsiness, vomiting, lethargy etc). we dismantled the cot after that and she’s been sleeping on a mattress beside our bed ever since. (we must evict her from our room!)
and what’s with these kids and tak tau serik, eh? sometimes, i wonder if she has less pain receptors than other people. dia kalau jatuh, nangis sikit aje. even then, if it’s a really bad fall. she has no phobia of things which have hurt her before (like the treadmill at her aunt’s house from which she fell).
