i think this boy is meant to be in a big family, like his daddy. but too bad, hun, your mummy is already turning 30 and her body can only afford (God-willing), hmm… maybe one more of you? if you’re lucky, who knows, i may strike those twin genes in the family too, ha ha!
till then, i’ll make sure you get to hang out with all your wonderful little cousins and friends as much as possible.

kalau nak identical twins, u hv as good a chance as anyone! it happens by chance u know…
fraternal susah sikit. if ur grandmother has those, you have a very high chance of getting a pair yourself. this kind runs on the female side of the family (need 2 eggs mah!) and skips a generation. so maybe you can psycho your ovaries to work overtime? hehe.
so… eat things in pairs, avoid ovulation day and erm, pray many-many! :D
hmm nak look up our genealogical tree ada susah sikit coz my grandmother was adopted, but there are two generations of twins after her so far. hey….. actually, the pair other than faris and faiz ARE fraternal, i think! my twin cousins are one boy one girl, and they don’t look identical like these two and the damdils… and their mother is my aunt. so, is this really likely to run on the girls side of the family?? ouhhh…. =)

fraternal twins DO hv to come from the girls’ side because they’re the ones producing eggs, and the predisposition to release more than one ovum, for fraternal twinning to happen, is a genetic thing. well that makes sense, duh! (dulu bio teacher ajar, tak dengar eh…)

i come from a big family myself.i’m the eldest of 5 siblings.
my mum gave birth to my youngest bro when she was 39 years old.(i’d remembered i was in sec 3 then!)
so imagine now my lil laila has got my cute lil bro to call “Uncle Shafiq!” (Uncle Shafiq only in P2 now hor)

The eldest girl is in pri 6 and the triplets are in pri 3. So cute when I come across these girls every morning on my way to my son’s student care.

your aunt with the fraternal twins, will most likely have her granddaughter (from the fraternal twin daughter) bearing fraternal twins of her own! if your nenek ada fraternal twins, u have a good chance of having a pair. fyi fraternal twinning is twice more common than identical twinning.
i think if you really want a pair, mintak doctor hormone pills. pasti menjadi, LOL! ouh and i didn’t eat anything in pairs, cos the idea of having twins was totally inconceivable; it was my biggest fear then! imagine that!

hey i always think my nenek has a twin for some reason, coz sometimes i see some old chinese nyonya and think how she looks remarkably like my nenek! i imagined that was one of the reasons she was given away, coz her family couldnt afford to keep twins in those days. hehe.
Sis…having twins is more than enough coz they will occupy most of ur time, and the hubby’s time too. LOL
Oh yah…terlupa nak add. The doctor said that if we want twins..it may or may not be easy coz it takes 20 years to have them after the last twin is born. My mum’s siblings (2nd last & last is twin) and my grandma (my dad’s mum) is a twin herself. So ermm… I dont know if I will be able to conceive twins or not. And my family beside my dad is female dominant. LOL! I want twin girls badly! Hahaha! So sis, maybe u can try for twins too.. ;) Mana tau menjadi..hehe!
