so exciting..u know i nearly went to TKGS..lol..i actually liked the uniform then.
for me, the boys in our brother school were never a distraction..too nerdy..lol..
but i think they probably thk e same abt us :S

technically hor.. tktech no longer exists lar. they changed it to tkss back in ’94 (by then u moved out of tkg oready rite?) but yes, they’re still next door neighbours – along dunman rd instead of tg katong rd. :D
did the tkguys really think the tkgals were hawt? maybe some. :D i remember a particular busstop which became a HAWT spot to oogle at the hawt gals. ;)
now, do I think the tkguys were cute? mostly not, coz some were too rowdy and kept getting hauled up by the discipline master (i was the v-hd prefect who got assigned the ‘fun’ task of watching over whatever form of detention they’re made to serve).
so i never dated a tkguy. i just moved on to hook up with a vsdude. so tak ikut formula, i know. lol!
and if i ever had a daughter, i’ll fight tooth & nail to have her don the brown-amber-whites. always had a soft spot for that alma mater. :)
is!! imagine if you’d been in tk, omg, our world would’ve been so much smaller (and i’d get to know izad earlier LOL!)… but i think you’d hv been in the smartest pure sci class, rin & i (plus ism and sab) were in the last sub-science class, slacker habis, selalu lepak one corner depan toilet, hehee! i think we were the naughtiest girls in that batch. every saturday go to a certain spot in orchard and mix with ‘bad’ company, tsk tsk…

i think it must’ve been one of the few times i was at the bus stop when u saw me. coz most days my dad wld pick me up from school, even to ml1 classes. so he’d travel all the way from newton to katong to fetch me, then he’d drive back all the way to newton. very sanggup hor. but if he didn’t do that, i’d sulk big time. :s *bully bapak betul, ni anak* lol!
and yalah, my near-prefect experience in hgs was also marred by ‘controversy’. in p3, all the girls who attained no. 2 to 5 in standard were made prefects. i was no. 1 that year, but i was the only one not selected. their reason? i was too quiet in class. like whatthe..??
i’d probably park the kid at my mum’s plc, just so she can attend the school (tho’ i know Fan wld hear nothing of it. oops!) mum’s plc so much nearer joo seng rd. (ok likewise, i gotta produce a daughter first, then can talk hor.) :p

my dad used to send/fetch me to/from school too, but he grumbled a lot, so sec sch onwards got kaki, take bus lor, spared me the grumbles and silence in the car. and that’s how all the naughtiness begins, hanging out at bus stops and bus interchange, go parkway after sch… hehe.
