am on course these two days, interestingly and aptly enough, to learn essential communication skills. (yes, some of us are indeed lacking in that department, it seems, haha.)

for the sake of fulfilling that hundred course hours per year, i feigned ineptness in the said subject matter, and took the opportunity to, well… siam for two days lah!

there were some nuggets of wisdom or, in course-speak, “takeaways”, that i wanted to share here, actually. must care and share mah, right or not? but nevermind. i don’t think you’d be very interested in that.

but i was naughty in class today. i was immediately drawn to these free slogan postcards that the trainer pasted around the room. i eyed one behind me and tried to sneak it in between the pages of my book. but darn! he noticed it missing and darn again! he saw the green tip of the postcard peeking out of the pages. uh-oh. :p

so i explained that i really really wanted the postcard for its sheer truism, relevance, and significance, and since i, ahem, effectively communicated my intention (with a bit of buttering, anecdote, and a pinch of salt), he gave it to me. hurhur.

what can i say, it sums up a whole lotta things.
