i’d never been particularly good with lego and… building stuff, and i never really had the interest in it. i hear it’s good for your left-brain. that’s to do with being good in math, isn’t it? well that figures. i suck at math. and other kinds of, er, logical thinking. :p

but seeing the strewn pieces of mega bloks on the floor today, i thought i should give it a go once and for all. well, it beats clearing up the damn things. i might as well get some fun out of it.

all 100+ pieces of it. twasn’t so tough. tough is rubik’s cubes. (which i remember i used to cheat by peeling off the stickers…)

erm, i guess it’s too late to be an architect or a construction worker or a mathemation mathematician now huh?

phew~

laz time it was so painful tryin to get one piece off another..

  5. jewel says:

ehh good job! so colourful! heh. donch worry, not everyone has a logical mind … wahahahahaha! i can’t solve the rubik’s cube either, but my brother could do it with his eyes closed and one hand tied behind his back. all this time, i thought he’s an alien. well, the only number game i like is sudoku. woot, does that make me a genius?! suweeeeeet!

  6. hana says:

ahh phew, good to know im not the only one capable of illogical thinking hehe! so did ur brother solve the rubik with his mouth or his feet??… and err sudoku?! gimme a good ol crossword puzzle instead pls. or boggle. lagi best, can make up funny words.

meimei, this is a new generation kind… mega bloks! easier for young kids (and ppl like me) to grab and manipulate.

pj, if im a mathematician, izad’s a rocket scientist hehee… and fergeddit lah, solving rubik cubes is an urban myth. :p

    mobs, gaudi who? PCK can?

  7. Faddy says:

Hahahhaa I used to try peel off the stickers too, but my makcik (owner of the thing) mengamok cuz all the stickers are like half peeled and super crinkly already kekekeke..

  8. aisyah says:

mega bloks is good for throwing around the house and making everyone trip over them, aunty hana!

  9. hana says:

yah aisyah, you’d know that very well, huh! thats why i said i might as well get some fun out of clearing the mess. :p

heh faddy, mine was a ciplak version of the cube, it had fruits and vege pictures instead of the normal colours! within a few peelings, the entire cube jadi botak. oopss.

  13. heriati says:

beb, i’m surprised aniq didn’t try to destroy ur work of art! ;) nice job btw!

  14. hana says:

ohhh he tried of course, lol!
kalau wooden blocks lagi susah nak ‘protect’, he even destroys his own work… dia stack sampai 5 blocks jer, KABOOOSHHHH!

  15. irris says:

Lego mahal & so small lah! I think I prefer duplo :D

So how u feeling today? As usual, I’m so lemau, and later got lunchtime interview some more…groans…

  16. raggedyanne says:

am i depriving nunu of something if i dont get her those megablocks? she’s doing great stacking my old tupperwares & other plastic wares :)

  17. hana says:

stacking anything is good! but small pieces are good for developing for their fine motor coordination or manipulative skills (or sumthing lah!)…
alah anne, actually i dunno if i myself would even buy these stuff for him if they weren’t gifts.
besides… i pon dulu tak main lego perr… my ‘manipulative’ skills boleh tahan jugak kan? ;p

nani, lunch makan apa? i had makcik’s mee siam. bila kita nak ‘siam’ for lunch lagik?

  18. irris says:

Today got mee siam? Alahhhhh!! I didn’t have a choice – I ate rice, sebab I had a late lunch at 1 plus.

Will lotus you for lunch, hopefully sometime next week okie!

  19. herda says:

    she peels masking tape alright!

the other day she did not want to leave a grain of rice that has fallen off her high chair alone. she will not eat till that grain of rice had vanished from the face of the floor.

like mother like daughter …no? hehe

  20. hana says:

maybe that grain of rice ‘spoke’ to her… “eat me, eat me!”
    LOL

  21. liz says:

if Aniq loves destroying his own work… Jenga’s the answer! ke uno stacko. stack la sampai tinggi2…pastu kaboosh!

  22. mahd says:

rubik’s cube is a disaster! i could never figure out that thing. but gimme sudoku anytime…
